CARAH Care was founded with one clear purpose: to provide high-quality home care. With many care providers focusing on the here and now, CARAH Care has a unique approach to home care that combines traditional home care with independence skills.
At CARAH Care, we believe that disability or age-related health conditions should not mean sacrificing the control, choice and independence that makes you who you are. By focusing on a person’s strengths, CARAH Care can support people in a way that keeps them living more safely and independently at home, for as long as possible.
Diane Percy
I have worked in health and social care since 2005, joining my first company as a support worker. Although this role could have its challenges, I was certain I had found the right vocation for me. I have always been passionate about outcome-based support and from there I progressed to a number of different roles before completing my management qualifications. From the journey of team leader to locality manager, I eventually ended up as a
service manager for a large provider based in the Merseyside area. Throughout my career I have managed a number of different settings including residential care, supported living and domiciliary care.
What attracted me to CARAH Care was the unique approach to home care that focused on enabling people to live well at home, for as long as possible. With ageing parents this was something that resonated with me, as we all want the best for our families. It was clear that the values and ethos of the company was something that was promoted every day, rather than just being a buzzword.
